Over the 2 days of november 14th and 15th, autonomous pagans, occultists, chaotes and other assorted magicians, wizards, witches and friends the world over will synchronise their magickal rituals with an attempt to Colour The Grey - a working which we hope will bring new colour, new hope and new fun to a generation of people that have been brought up with the fear of nuclear war, the fear of imminent environmental destruction and the false promise of wealth-in-the-future-brings-happiness. Colour The Grey - The grey is of course, the office worker who spends no time with hir family; the boy who won't go out and play coz there's too much homework; the homeless gent who has lost his creative impulse and the myriad of teenagers who commit suicide because "no one understands me". Arthur Dent is a typical grey. The grey is of course, all those who have colourless, non-magickal lives because they've shut out all the rainbows, all the magick and all the chaos that goes together to make life a really remarkable experience worth living ! And beware - the way of the grey is a certain grim cold colourless death ... Followers of the way of the grey are realising their worst fears and taking the rest of the world with them. And lo, it came to pass that there was a mighty grey force formed. This mighty grey force spread across the seven seas and took on a variety of acronymistic monikers: the WEF, the IMF, NAFTA, WDB and the greyest of them all: the WTO. Now this greyest of groups were going to have a meeting in a friendly sunny coastal city, Sydney Australia. The desired outcome of their meeting? to paint the whole world grey ....... ~~~~ Seeing the need for more colour in the world, more chaos, more rainbows and more magick, a group of people started talking - conversation soon turned to colours, to chaos, to magick and to rainbow striped umbrellas on a sunny day. The group grew quickly - it soon spread the world over: Australia, the Philipines, Canada, the US, Brazil, the UK, Italy and Japan so far.... The group group demanded more colours, more fun, more play and more chocolate coated licorice pieces for one and all. "But how to bring that about?" one questioned; the collective response: "Colour the Grey". Shortly conversation turned to magick, to sparklers, to cones of power and to a great spell to be cast in unison, the world over. Colours: To partake in the ritual all you have to do is invoke colourful chaos on the 2 days of november 14th and 15th. To synchronise with the rest of the group, on the days of 14th and 15th, use the full power of your magickal and creative genius to visualise magickal chaos stars drifting up and away from your particular node's rituals. And noding it is - with at least 28 different nodes formed across the planet this looks set to be a truly awesome, magickal, brilliant and creatively chaotic event. Some nodes are visualising the planet as one great chaosphere - with different nodes taking on different rays; drop us a line if you'd like to take up the challenge of a ray on the chaos star. Some nodes are invoking death - with the plan to awaken the senses of the greys; others nodes are calling on the great goddess Eris herself - Eris, goddess of chaos, synchronicity, randomness, craziness (and therefore ruler of the world) is a much favoured deity for Colour The Grey. And of course, who could forget the beloved Goddess! She'll be with us in full effect on the day as the Wiccans put on their shimmering reb boots and dance the tango. And other nodes are doing all sorts of crazy things - the dragon children of Apsu will be attempted to be awoken, as will the supreme Jedi council, Krishna will be honoured greatly over the 2 days and more magickal craziness will be taking place the world over! What does each node has in common? The visualisation which is the creative and wondrous rainbow speckled chaosstar - and the mantra, or chantra if you prefer.
