The Children of Apsu are a bit vulnerable when they first awaken, so it'd probably be a good idea not to make their specific locations public. Letting trustworthy magicians know where they are would be a good idea though, because then they could help with the awakening process. I woke up another one yesterday... I had gone to a lake with my kids and it had been hit hard by the drought. The usual swimming area was reduced to a wading pool and the water near the bouys which usually tell the boats where not to go only came up to my waist (and I'm not very tall) I took advantage of the fact that I could wade out to areas which were usually submerged and awoke one... This particular lake is a flood control lake crated by humans to be used as a reservoir and for disaster prevention, so the child was not originally there. Her original home (I believe it was somewhere in Europe) had been destroyed and/or defiled and she had been freefloating in one of those eggs... A few months ago I had anchored her to the lake, as the lake hasn't been there very long and IMO needed more magic [:)] She is a bit different from the other child, as far as I know, he has always been in this area and she has not... She also has a bit of a grudge against some sword-wielding humans (possibly xtians, not sure of the time when this happened) who destroyed her temple and sent her floating. She knows they are dead now and at this point isn't out for their blood. She also wasn't sure she wanted to wake up and I had to do a bit of coaxing to get her awake. After waking up she became a bit grouchy and hungry.... This one may have gotten human sacrifice at some point but will have to live on my channeled energy for now. I had to do a bit of bargaining with some water elementals to get some of the right energy for her... I remember negotiating with them last night and reveling something I'd seen in a vision, then prompty forgetting what it was that finally convinced them to help. At one point when I was speaking to her, she told me to look down and I clearly saw the outline of a dragon's head in the water less than a meter away from me. I brought back a few stones from the lake, one of which was almost pulsating while I was there but isn't as active now. I can use it to communicate with her and send energy back and forth... I also got a white quartz that resmbles a dragon's claw and some chips... This morning I made those into a necklace... I'm going to put some spells on it eventually, not sure what yet. So now there are two children I know of who are awake and one potential.
